In this screen shot i created a black background using the fill tool, and made a new layer which i created some text. I then used the blending options on the text to create this chrome effect.
I then used the polygon selection tool to select triangles of the text. OI then used the selection tool to cut out the text making this cracked look.
This is the final image that is shattered.
I then used the lasso tool to select a cirle on a new layer. Using the filter tool i set a ridial blur which i put to 100% which took 35 pixels out of the area to create and exploding effect. Then i added a cloud effect which gives me a random cloud effect.
I then Selected the visible text pixels only and made the used the same process ass the step before on the selected area.
I then used the hue and contrast tool to create the colouring.
I then added extra text underneath the main text using the same effect as the main text.
This is the final image.
